Digital-Assets & DLT Projects Early Stage Technology StartupsOur investment strategy is founder-driven and seeks passionate individuals who are creating valuable solutions for problems faced by many people in their daily lives. We look for candidate startups from any geography, ideally with strong teams of at least 2-3 fully committed co-founders.
We primarily focus on digital tech and e-commerce startups that are seeking Seed or Series A funding. However, we also may selectively engage in earlier pre-Seed opportunities where we believe there is a compelling value proposition that serves an appealing and growing market.
Finally, we value attractive deal structures that have the potential for outsized returns, especially opportunities where we have relationships that can yield early or exclusive access.
Digital-Assets & DLT ProjectsDistributed ledger technology has the potential to disrupt many industries and create and capture significant economic value. Public blockchains’ ability to create secure, trustless ecosystems where value can be transacted P2P means that we may be heading towards a decentralized economy where the existence of intermediaries (“rent takers”) is no longer justified. We believe that robust infrastructure platforms and flourishing crypto capital markets are two essential enablers for this decentralized internet of the future to become a reality.
Our investment strategy is thesis-driven and seeks the infrastructure and financial services projects that will enable this next iteration of the internet and its associated capital markets.
We primarily focus on public protocol-level projects, including scalability, interoperability, connectivity, and data management solutions, as well as financial services projects, including decentralized exchanges, compliant security token platforms, stable coins, custodians, and wallet & payment solutions. We may also selectively engage in other opportunities that have a captive user base and proven business model, yet have identified a compelling way to create greater value using tokenization.
Finally, we invest in crypto-assets (“coins”) but are receptive to deal structures that involve an equity element, especially opportunities where we have relationships that can yield the earliest private sale access.
